UnLitter UK: A Community Clean-Up Initiative
UnLitter UK is a free iPhone application designed to promote community involvement in litter collection within Durham. It encourages both tourists and residents to participate in keeping the area clean while engaging with the local economy. The app was launched in collaboration with Visit County Durham and Unbox the Universe during the Fire and Ice festival in February 2023.
